A Comprehensive Study of the Research Status and Development Orientation of“Borderland Science”in China

边疆和领土事关国家核心利益,维护国家边疆利益成为时代的要求。回应这一时代要求,学界广泛讨论建立“边疆科学”这一新兴交叉学科去维护新时代的国家边疆利益。“边疆科学”是前期学界讨论的一般边疆学概念的转化。“边疆科学”的兴起较早,有其发展脉络,在其自身发展过程中奠定了其学科地位。“边疆科学”的知识体系包含多个方面,既包括“边疆科学”的理论基础和基础理论,也包括“专业边疆科学”与“专业中的边疆科学”,还包括“边疆科学”的理论研究与应用研究。现阶段“边疆科学”的研究特点是分别在“专业边疆科学”“专业中的边疆科学”以及“边疆科学”周边研究形成了相对热门话题。“边疆科学”未来可期,可形成自主知识体系,但需要本着科学主义精神在未来的可能性重点作出努力。

Frontier and territory are related to the core interests of a country,and safeguarding the interests of the national frontier has become the requirement of the times.In response to the requirements of the new era,domestic scholars have discussed widely the establishment of a new cross-discipline of“borderland science”to safeguard the national frontier interests in the new era.“Borderland science”is a transformation of the general concept of frontier studies discussed in the early academic circles.“Borderland science”emerged relatively early,had its development orientation,and established its disciplinary status in the process of its development.The knowledge system of“borderland science”covers many aspects,including not only its theoretical basis and basic theories,but also“professional borderland science”and“borderland science in a branch of learning”as well as its theoretical research and practical application.At present,the research characteristics of“borderland science”find expression in some relatively hot topics in“professional borderland science”and“borderland science in a branch of learning”as well as the relevant studies.It is expected that“borderlands science”in the future can form an independent knowledge system,but it needs to focus on its future possibilities in the spirit of scientism.
