外商直接投资对中国经济高质量发展的影响再研究——兼谈路径探索和政策讨论

Restudy on the Influence of Foreign Direct Investment on the High-quality Development of China’s Economy: Discussion on Path Exploration and Policy

开放发展能够为中国经济高质量发展提供强大动力,外商直接投资能否成为中国新时代实现经济高质量发展的重要突破口是值得深入研究的重要课题。文章基于2005~2019年省级数据,考察外商直接投资对中国经济高质量发展的影响。研究发现,外商直接投资与中国经济高质量发展呈倒“U”型关系。分地区来看,东部地区外商直接投资与经济高质量发展呈“U”型关系,中部地区二者关系不明显,西部地区外商直接投资能够促进经济高质量发展。分维度来看,外商直接投资与创新发展、协调发展和共享发展呈倒“U”型关系,对绿色发展影响不显著,对开放发展呈正向促进作用。在对影响路径进行分析时发现,技术引进和环境质量在其中发挥中介作用,模仿创新、自主创新和产业结构的中介作用不显著。

Open development can provide strong impetus for the high-quality development of China's economy.Whether foreign direct investment(FDI)can become an important breakthrough for the high-quality development of China's economy in the new era has become an important subject worthy of in-depth study.Based on the provincial data from 2005 to 2019,this paper investigates the influence of FDI on the high-quality development of China's economy.The research shows that there is an inverted U-shaped relationship between FDI and the high-quality development of China's economy.In terms of regions,there is a U-shaped relationship between FDI and the high-quality economic development in the eastern region,but the relationship between them is not significant in the central region and FDI in the western region can promote the high-quality economic development.In terms of dimensions,FDI has an inverted U-shaped relationship with innovative development,coordinated development and shared development,but it has no significant influence on green development and plays a positive role in promoting open development.The analysis of the influencing path reveals that technology introduction and environmental quality exert the mediating effect,while imitation innovation,independent innovation and industrial structure exert no significant mediating effect.
