南京市食物里程与交通运输碳排放核算

Estimating the food miles and food transportation carbon emissions of Nanjing

摘要 食品运输所带来的碳排放作为温室气体的重要来源,已成为备受全球关注的议题。然而,基于我国国情对居民消费食物整体进行交通运输碳排放的定量研究尚不多见。因此,以南京市为例,基于百度地图API路线规划、实地调研、统计年鉴等数据,估算了分类食物里程和总体食物里程,通过设定食物本地化率的不同水平,对南京市食物运输碳减排效应进行了多情景评价,并提出了减少食物里程和碳排放量的对策建议。结果表明:南京市食物整体里程为865 km,食物本地化率约为5.1%,食物运输二氧化碳排放量约为57 530 t/a;食物运输方面具有较大的碳减排潜力,蔬菜及菜制品是碳减排效应最显著的食物。研究结果可为完善南京市食物系统、降低食物里程与交通运输碳排放提供决策参考。 Carbon emissions from food transportation have become a significant source of greenhouse gases,and a topic of global concern.However,quantitative analyses of transportation-related carbon emissions associated with overall food consumption by residents in China are relatively scarce.Therefore,this study takes Nanjing City as an example,and based on data from Baidu Maps API route planning,field research,and statistical yearbooks,estimates the categorized and overall food mileage.By setting different levels of food localization rates,we evaluate the carbon emission reduction effects of food transportation in Nanjing under various scenarios and propose policy recommendations to reduce food mileage and carbon emissions.The study found that in Nanjing,the total food transportation food miles is 865 km,with a food localization rate of 5.1%.The annual CO_(2) emissions from food transportation are estimated to be around 57530 tons.The results suggest that there is significant potential to reduce carbon emissions from food transportation,with the greatest potential for reducing emissions found in vegetable products.The findings can serve as a useful reference for decision-making aimed at improving the food system in Nanjing,and reducing both food miles and transportation-related carbon emissions.
