在人的生存方式理论中,弗洛姆指出,市场指向型社会性格是“重占有”文化产生的根源,社会文化抽象化、欲望不受阻、教育的功利化是“重占有”文化的主要表现。弗洛姆对“重占有”文化的批判在新时代具有重要的启示意义:我国社会主义文化建设要坚持马克思主义在意识形态领域的指导地位,推进文化自信自强,加强社会主义精神文明建设。
