The development of ChatGPT will drive a paradigm shift in content creation,which impact the way patrons access information.Then this process will also give rise to new missions and directions for library services,providing technical support and a solid foundation for rapid changes in innovative library service scenarios.The article compares the history of library services"PGC-UGC-AIGC"evolution through the perspective of content production method change.Combine with ChatGPT's unique abilities in inspiring content generations,understanding dialogue scenarios,executing sequential tasks and parsing program languages,we summarize the"4T features"of ChatGPT empowering library smart service,including Translation(interactive language translation),Transformation(personalized scene transformation),Transmission(three-dimensional information transmission),Treatment(real-time task treatment).Additionally,we create the RSRC framework diagram for ChatGPT empowering library service application scenarios,accelerating the development of resource value(Resources),specialized service abilities(Services),intelligent reference abilities(Reference),and cultural equity(Culture).Based on these,ln order to promote the application of ChatGPT empowers library smart service,libraries can improve the effectiveness of library services and accelerate the construction of smart libraries through four aspects:technologies,resources,talents and managements.
