SAILING INTO SERVICE!Chinese naval hospital ship Peace Ark is docked at its home port in Zhoushan City,Zhejiang Province,on July 3.The ship set sail for a humanitarian medical mission in Kiribati,Tonga,Vanuatu,the Solomon Islands and East Timor later that same day.The ship will dock at one port in each country,providing one week of free medical services to local residents,personnel from Chinese institutions and overseas Chinese.Since entering service in 2008,the ship has visited 43 countries and regions,and treated more than 250,000 patients.
