Correctly understanding the characteristics and behavioral laws of capital in the socialist market economy is the major theoretical and practical propositions regarding economic and social de⁃velopment in our country.The existence of capital category in socialist market economy has its histori⁃cal inevitability.With the accumulation of practical experience in reform and development,our Party’s understanding of capital is also deepening.The coexistence of various economic components in the pri⁃mary stage of socialism determines that the socialist capital structure presents the characteristics of multiple forms.Various forms of capital not only play a positive role in promoting the development of productive forces of society and serving the purpose of socialist production,but also bring the nega⁃tive impact of the disorderly expansion of capital.Under the conditions of the new era,to standard⁃ize and guide the healthy development of capital,we must adhere to the Party’s overall leadership of economic work,adhere to the“two basic principles of unwavering support”,and comprehensively improve the efficiency of capital governance.
