摘要
糖尿病视网膜病变(DR)是糖尿病最常见的并发症之一,可以引起视网膜损伤、视力下降甚至失明。DR的发病机制尚不明确,其中,长链非编码RNA(lncRNA)以其调节功能而闻名。lncRNA的异常表达可能在DR的发展过程中发挥重要作用,长链非编码RNA母系表达基因3(lncRNA-MEG3)在DR患者血清中低表达,与DR的发生发展关系密切。故本文从微血管稳态、炎症等角度探讨其在DR发病机制中的研究进展,发现促进lncRNA-MEG3表达可调节微血管稳态,抑制炎症反应,在DR进程中扮演重要角色,有望成为DR治疗的新型靶点。
Diabetic retinopathy(DR)is one of the most common complications of diabetes,leading to retinal damage,visual impairment,and even blindness.The pathogenesis of DR is still not fully understood,and long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)has gained recognition for their regula⁃tory functions.Aberrant expression of lncRNA may play a crucial role in the development of DR,and long non-coding RNA maternally expressed gene 3(lncRNA-MEG3)has been found to be downregulated in the serum of DR patients,closely associated with the occurrence and progression of DR.Therefore,this article explores the research progress of lncRNA-MEG3 in the pathogenesis of DR from the perspectives of microvascular homeostasis,inflammation,and other aspects.It has been discovered that promoting the expression of lncRNA-MEG3 can regulate microvascular ho⁃meostasis,inhibit inflammatory responses,and play a significant role in the progression of DR,po⁃tentially serving as a novel target for DR treatment.
