Fine alumina is a kind of complex chemical material,which is composed of high-purity alumina,aluminium hydroxide and other aluminous compounds.The variety of these products is very diverse,the physical and chemical properties vary,and they are widely used in many industries,such as new energy,electronic information,machinery,aerospace,pharmaceuticals,materials,and metallurgy.As a major producer of fine alumina,China holds an important economic position globally.Activated alumina,high-purity alumina and nano alumina are typical products of fine alumina industry.This paper reviews the preparation,performance,and application fields of different fine alumina products,and looks forward to the future development trend of the fine alumina industry,so as to better promote relevant research and meet the needs of social development.
