Type 2 diabetes is a common metabolic disease. In recent years, the incidence rate has gradually increased. At present, traditional Chinese medicine has a good oral effect in the clinical treatment of type 2 diabetes, and intestinal flora plays an important role in the treatment process of drugs.Studies have shown that the imbalance of intestinal flora can promote the occurrence of type 2 diabetes.Intestinal microbiota is considered as a new target for the diagnosis and treatment of type 2 diabetes. Therefore,it can play a therapeutic role for type 2 diabetes by regulating the balance of intestinal flora types and numbers.Traditional Chinese medicine believes that“spleen dominates the movement”is the“acquired root”,and the stability of intestinal flora is the basis for the normal function of“spleen dominates the movement”.Spleen deficiency can easily lead to thirst reduction and insulin resistance. The method of strengthening the spleen and assisting the circulation can improve the number and structure of intestinal flora of type 2 diabetes patients with spleen deficiency, strengthen the body immunity, and play a very good therapeutic effect on type 2 diabetes. This paper analyzes type 2 diabetes from the mechanism of intestinal flora spleen,in order to provide a new idea and theoretical basis for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in traditional Chinese medicine.
