With the continuous development of social economy,the Internet of Things(IoT)and information technology in China become more and more mature,and can be effectively applied in the field of social production.At the present stage of smart city construction,5G mobile communication network,as an important basic condition,is of great significance to promote the development of smart city informatization.Based on this,this paper analyzes the role of 5G mobile communication in the construction of smart cities,and carries out in-depth discussion on the specific application.
