摘要
续论的促学效果已为大量研究所证实,但其总体效应却缺乏统计验证。本文运用元分析方法整合续论相关实证研究,验证其整体促学效应和调节变量的调节作用。结果表明,续论的整体促学效应量达到中等水平,主要调节变量按效应大小依次为目标语言、任务类型、体裁类别、外语水平和外语能力。上述发现证实了续论促学机制的有效性,对续论促学效应的进一步优化具有启发作用。
Numerous studies have confirmed the promoting effect of the xu-argument on language learning.Nonetheless,the facilitating effect is scarcely statistically verified in a synthesized manner.This research aims to synthesize relevant empirical studies to testify the overall promoting effect of the xu-argument and its mediators in a meta-analysis.Results show that the xu-argument has a moderate level of overall promoting effect with such factors as target language,task type,genre variation,L2 proficiency level,and L2 skills as moderators,ranking consecutively from the strongest to the weakest.These findings have implications for further optimizing the promoting effect of the xu-argument.
