二语思维模式与外语情感之关系的潜在剖面分析 被引量:2

A Latent Profile Analysis of the Relationship between L2 Mindset and Foreign Language Emotions

摘要 本研究基于对413名非英语专业大学生的问卷调查,采用潜在剖面分析技术分析其二语思维模式的潜在类别,并通过单因素方差分析探究各类思维模式学生的外语愉悦水平和焦虑水平。结果表明:1)我国大学英语学习者二语思维模式差异明显,含成长型、高混合型、低混合型和固定型等四种潜在类别;2)成长型思维模式的外语愉悦水平最高,焦虑水平最低;固定型的外语愉悦水平最低,焦虑水平最高;低混合型的外语愉悦和焦虑水平居中;高混合型的外语愉悦和焦虑水平较高,与成长型的愉悦水平和固定型的焦虑水平相仿。研究结果对语言思维模式理论的发展和大学外语教学有一定启示。 This study explored the relationship between second language(L2)learners'mindset and their enjoyment and anxiety levels.A questionnaire survey was conducted on 413 Chinese non-English-major university students.Data were analyzed to tease out the potential categories of their L2 mindset via latent profile analysis,and the characteristics and differences of their foreign language enjoyment and anxiety were analyzed through one-way ANOVA.Results indicated that(1)the L2 mindset of Chinese non-English-major university students was heterogeneous,consisting of four potential profiles:growth,high-mixed,low-mixed and fixed,and(2)students with the growth profile experienced the highest level of enjoyment and the lowest level of anxiety,those with the fixed profile had the lowest level of enjoyment and the highest level of anxiety,and those with the low-mixed profile exhibited medium levels of anxiety and enjoyment,whereas those of the highmixed profile experienced medium-high levels of enjoyment and anxiety,similar to the enjoyment level of those with growth profile and the anxiety level of those with the fixed profile.The findings offer insights on language mindset theory and practical implications for tertiary-level English languageteaching.
