tert-butylamine is an important organic chemical raw material and intermediate.It is mainly used as a synthetic rubber accelerator in the rubber industry,a synthetic herbicide,insecticide,bactericide,etc.in agriculture,a pharmaceutical intermediate in the pharmaceutical industry,and a synthetic lubricant additive,dye colorant,etc.Among them,tert-butylamine is the most widely used raw material of N-tert-butyl-2-benzothiazolesulfonamide(TBBS),a global leading environmental protection accelerator,and has attracted much attention at home and abroad.There are more than ten kinds of synthesis routes of tert butylamine.Considering the difficulty in obtaining raw materials,environmental protection of the process route,economic benefits,production equipment requirements and other aspects,the following process routes are mainly used to realize industrialization:tert butylamine hydrolysis,tert butylurea hydrolysis,isobutylene HCN,MTBE-HCN and isobutylene catalytic ammoniation.In this paper,the application field,synthesis process and market situation of tert butylamine are introduced emphatically.
