摘要
《桑青与桃红》揭示了现代中国人生存的“间际”体验,这种体验同样存在于《狂人日记》和《沉沦》等某些中国现代文学作品之中。《桑青与桃红》延续了中国现代文学之为“现代”的思想和艺术,但相较于中国现代文学,《桑青与桃红》似乎走得更远,更为勇敢和决绝。桑青本身具有的饱满丰富的中国文化内容与桃红本身的意义缺失状态构成的张力,正是该小说的艺术魅力所在。在伦理实在的意义上,桃红的荒谬昭示着人对自由本质的向往。
Sang Qing and Tao Hong:Two Women of China is a revelation of an interval experience in the survival of modern Chinese,an experience that also exists in some modern Chinese literary works like Diary of a Mad Man and Sinking.Although Sang Qing and Tao Hong:Two Women of China is a continuation of the thought and art of why modern Chinese literature is modern,it,by comparison with modern Chinese literature,seems to have gone further,more courageous and resolute.The tension between the full and rich contents of Chinese culture on the part of Sang Qing and the lack of meaning on the part of Tao Hong,is where the artistic charm of the novel lies.In the actual ethnical sense,Tao Hong’s absurdity reveals one’s aspiration towards the nature of freedom.
