中高层大气激光雷达安全运行天气判别系统

Weather Identification System for Normal Running of Middle and Upper Atmosphere Lidar

摘要 环境天气的突然变化会对观测中的中高层大气激光雷达造成严重危害,为了确保中高层大气激光雷达的安全运行,需要实时监测激光雷达台站的天气状况。基于夜空图像分析仪和本地气象站,结合数字图像处理技术,开发一套自动化天气判别系统。该系统能够实时判断当前天气状况是否满足激光雷达的观测条件,并对未来2小时内可能出现的恶劣天气做出及时预警。依据试运行一年的连续观测结果,该系统能够正确地判断当前天气状况,可以满足中高层大气激光雷达自动化运行的需求,具有较高的稳定性和实用性。 Sudden weather changes can endanger the middle and upper atmosphere lidar in observation.Hence,to ensure the safe operation of the lidar,the weather conditions of stations need to be monitored in real-time.Consequently,this paper develops an automatic weather identification system for a local weather station,using a night-sky image analyzer with digital image processing technology.Investigations reveal that the system can judge in real time whether the current weather conditions meet the lidar’s observational conditions,subsequently giving an early warning when it will become bad weather in the next two hours.Furthermore,the continuous observation results of trial operations for one year show that the proposed system can meet the middle and upper atmosphere lidar automatic operation requirements with high stability and practicability.
