River embankments are barriers that prevent flooding downstream of rivers.Afforestation on river embankments can play a role in conserving soil and water,strengthening embankments,and forming river embankment landscapes,enriching people's spiritual and cultural needs.Therefore,in the process of river regulation and management,the government is paying increasing attention to afforestation of river embankments.On the basis of in-depth investigation and research,the author elaborated on the positive role of river embankment afforestation,described the preparation work before river embankment afforestation,the supply and supervision of seedlings,the specific strategies for on-site management of afforestation to indoor and archive management,and put forward his own opinions on future river embankment afforestation and management work to improve afforestation effectiveness.
