Breeding of Thermo-sensitive Genic Male Sterile Line Hongbang 63S in Rice

以GD-7S为核不育基因供体,以广抗13B和宜香1B杂交的F5代中间材料为父本进行杂交,经福建、海南5 a 10代的穿梭选育,育成鸿邦63S。该不育系具有育性稳定、不育期长、异交率高、米质优、配合力好、抗稻瘟病等特点,2021年通过福建省农作物品种审定委员会审定。以鸿邦63S与茂恢6363配组的鸿邦两优6363于2021年通过国家农作物品种审定委员会审定。

With GD-7S as the donor of genic male sterile genes crossed to the breeding material of the F5 generation from the cross of Guangkang 13B and Yixiang 1B as the male parent,Hongbang 63S was developed through the shuttle breeding in Fujian and Hainan for five years and 10 generations.It has the characteristics of stable male sterility with a long sterile period,high outcrossing rate,good grain quality,high combining ability and resistance to rice blast.It was registered by Fujian Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2021.Hongbangliangyou 6363,derived from Hongbang 63S and Maohui 6363,was registered and released for commercial production by the National Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2021.
