Analysis of Implementation Framework of“Education for Sustainable Development 2030”and Suggestions for Action in China

“可持续发展教育2030”是联合国教科文组织领导实施的第三轮全球性可持续发展教育行动计划。该计划以“联合国可持续发展教育十年(2005—2014)”和“可持续发展教育全球行动计划(2015—2019)”为基础,结合当下全球经济、社会、环境等领域的新发展态势和多重挑战,以进一步落实联合国17项可持续发展目标为根本任务,提出在五个优先行动领域重点推进,增强各级各类教育在可持续发展进程中的核心作用,并从国家政策、合作网络、经验交流、趋势跟踪、资源调配、目标监测六项举措方面予以细化和跟进。新方案对于生态文明建设背景下做实我国可持续发展教育实践及增强教育在经济、社会和生态可持续发展过程中的作用具有现实参考价值。

“Education for Sustainable Development(ESD)2030”is the third round of global action plan for ESD led and implemented by UNESCO.Based on the“United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development(2005—2014)”and the“Global Action Programme on Education for Sustainable Development(2015—2019)”,the plan is combined with the current new development trends and multiple challenges in the global economic,social,environmental and other fields,takes the further implementation of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as the fundamental task,and proposes to focus on five priority action areas,aiming to strengthen the core role of education at all levels and types in the process of sustainable development.The plan proposes six mea-sures to be refined and followed up,such as national policies,cooperation network,experience exchange,trend tracking,resource allocation and goal monitoring.The new plan has reference value for implementing ESD practice and enhancing the role of education in the process of economic,social and ecological sustainable development in China under the background of ecological civilization construction.
