摘要
研发高质量过程评价量表是提升过程评价质量和效率的关键。依据《中国英语能力等级量表》(CSE)框架和新课程标准所界定的英语学科素养,设计了一种矩阵式英语学习过程评价量表。其中,量表的横向维度包括语法知识、篇章知识、功能知识和社会语言学知识,纵向维度包括英语能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力。这种设计旨在结合单元学习内容,精准分析学生在知识、能力和素养方面的长处和不足,为改进日常教学、提高英语学习效果提供有力支持。初步的应用结果表明,量表在诊断学情、改进教学方面具有良好作用,但要求一线教师将教学内容与学生能力发展和素养提升相结合尚有一定困难,相关信息管理系统缺乏也影响了矩阵式量表的功能发挥。
A high-quality process evaluation scale plays an essential role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of process evaluation.Using the operational definition of English knowledge and ability from China's Standards of English Language Ability(CSE)and the concepts of English subject literacies from the English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education,we developed an English learning process evaluation scale with matrix design.The rows of the matrix are the four domains of English knowledge:grammatical knowledge,textual knowledge,functional knowledge,and sociolinguistic knowledge.The columns of the matrix are the four dimensions of English literacies:linguistic ability,cultural character,thinking skills and learning ability.This scale is proved to be very helpful in diagnosing the strengths and weaknesses of a student's learning and enhancing the quality and efficiency of the teacher's teaching.The pilot study indicates that the matrix design of the process evaluation scale benefits both teachers and students in English learning.However,it is difficult for school teachers to develop or use the matrix-style process evaluation scale because their teaching design has to be modified daily to improve students'English ability and literacy while teaching English knowledge.Another big challenge is the lack of an information system to support process evaluation.
