Opportunity or Challenge?--On the Application Scenario of Metaverse in Archives

本文回顾了信息资源管理领域元宇宙相关的文献及综述,调查了前元宇宙时代档案馆的虚拟现实实践,从档案资源的虚拟现实、档案馆的服务模式、档案内容开发、档案数字记忆四个方面探讨了元宇宙在档案馆可能的应用场景,并从技术发展、信息安全、立法及政策以及资本垄断等方面分析了元宇宙时代档案馆面临的挑战。

This paper reviews the literature of information resources management related with metaverse,investigates the virtual reality practice of archives in the pre-metaverse era,and discusses the potential application scenarios of metaverse in archives from four perspectives:the virtual reality of archives resources,the service mode of archives,the development of archives content and the digital memory of archives.Moreover,it analyzes the challenges that archives are facing in the metaverse era from the perspective of technology development,information security,laws and policies as well as capital monopoly.
