With the development of the metaverse,virtual reality technology has been widely used in various fields.The application of virtual reality technology in variety shows is gradually explored by creating diversified virtual scenes and virtual idol IP.Starting from the concept of metaverse and the characteristics of virtual reality technology,this paper analyzes the value advantages and application of virtual reality technology in variety show production,and discusses its future development prospects.
