The researcher examined the segmented results,starting techniques,and relay strategies of the top three teams from the United Kingdom,China,and Australia in the mixed 4×100m medley relay at the Tokyo Olympics.By employing research methods such as literature review and statistical analysis,this study extracts the technical and tactical patterns of the leading teams and provides valuable insights and recommendations for the future development of this event in our country.Conclusions:The competitive strength of the relay teams plays a decisive role in the final results,as the overall team strength determines the ultimate performance and ranking.The coordination between the incoming and outgoing swimmers is a crucial factor that significantly impacts the final outcome.Optimum start techniques should be selected based on their compatibility with each athletes individual capabilities.Tactical strategies and techniques in the legs are vital elements for achieving victory,and maintaining the existing relay setup of man,man,woman and woman is recommended at this stage.SUGGESTIONS:The inclusion of a world top-three-level athlete in this event would greatly contribute to its progress for the Chinese team.Uilizing feedback devices during training can enhance athletes'judgment and cognitive abilities,leading to reduced start times.Additionally,elevating the level of reserve talents and further refining the project structure will provide robust support for strengthening the talent pool.
