韶关生态环境优良,其农产品经常以地理标志作为命名依据,以彰显自身特色。体现在语言符号上,韶关特色农产品词语往往包含“山”“峰”“峡”“岩”等修饰语,或者包含县市名、乡镇名、乡村名等。这些地理标志既指称特色农产品的来源地,也凸显了词语的文化内涵:韶关人眷恋山丘,善用多色土壤资源,韶关地区米茶种植历史悠久,并且接纳过南北移民。
