数字产业发展与区域经济差距:理论逻辑与实证检验

Digital Industry Development and Regional Economic Gap:Theoretical Logic and Empirical Test

本文基于2015~2020年中国省级面板数据,采用动态多维固定效应模型和中介效应模型,实证检验数字产业发展对区域经济差距的影响机制。研究发现:数字产业发展可显著缩小区域经济差距,且这一作用在考虑内生性和稳健性后依旧成立。异质性分析表明,数字产业发展对区域经济差距的影响会因地区和市场化程度不同表现出异质性,东部地区、市场化程度较高地区数字产业发展的影响作用更为突出。机制检验发现:技术创新水平和劳动力结构优化是数字产业发展影响区域经济差距的重要路径,即数字产业发展可通过提升技术创新水平和促进劳动力结构优化而间接缩小区域经济差距。据此,应以推动以数字产业发展为导向,以强化技术创新研发为抓手,以优化劳动力结构为重点,以强化区域协同互动为支撑,缩小区域经济差距,推动区域经济协调发展。

Based on the provincial panel data of China from 2015 to 2020,this paper uses dynamic multidimensional fixed effect model and intermediary effect model to explore the impact mechanism of digital industry development on regional economic gap.The research finds that the development of digital industry can significantly reduce the regional economic gap,and this role is still valid after considering the endogenous and robustness issues.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the impact of digital industry development on regional economic disparities shows heterogeneity due to different regions and different degrees of marketization,and the impact of digital industry development in eastern regions and regions with higher degree of marketization is more prominent.The mechanism test finds that the level of technological innovation and the optimization of labor structure are the important ways for the development of digital industry to affect the regional economic gap,that is,the development of digital industry can indirectly narrow the regional economic gap by improving the level of technological innovation and promoting the optimization of labor structure.Therefore,it is necessary to reduce the regional economic gap and promote the coordinated development among regions economic by taking promoting the development of digital industry as the guidance,strengthening technological innovation and research as the starting point,optimizing the labor structure as the focus,and strengthening regional coordination and interaction as the support.
