Objective To analyze the efficacy and safety of Ejiao Buxue formulas combined with Shengxuebao mixture in the treatment of postpartum anemia. Methods 60 postpartum anemia patients admitted to Poyang county people’s hospital from January 2018 to January 2021 were divided into a reference group and a observation group by stratified randomization, with 30 cases in each group. The reference group was treated with ferrous succinate, while the observation group was treated with Ejiao Buxue formulas combined with Shengxuebao mixture. The blood cell indicators, iron metabolism indicators, curative effect and incidence of adverse reactions be-tween the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, there was no significant difference in hematocrit(HCT),hemoglobin(Hb)level and the total effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05).The levels of HCT,Hb,serum iron(SI)and serum ferritin(SF)in the two groups were higher than those before treatment. Also, the levels of SI and SF and the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group were lower than those in the reference group, and all the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclu-sion Treating postpartum anemia patients with Ejiao Buxue formulas combined with Shengxuebao mixture can effectively improve the blood cell indicators, and has less effect on iron metabolism. It is safe and reliable and is worthy of promotion.
