以中国式现代化道路,构建人类文明新形态,从某种意义上可以说是中国共产党在带领中国人民回答世界上最难的一道题,这在人类历史上从未有过,将彻底改写现代化的世界版图。面对世界之问、历史之问、时代之问,致力中华民族伟大复兴的中国人,立足把国家和民族发展放在自己力量的基点上、把中国发展进步的命运牢牢掌握在自己手中,以自己的方式实现现代化,打破了西方现代化道路是现代化终极道路和唯一选项的历史迷思。美西方将中国视为“最严峻的长期挑战”,“中国威胁论”将以不同形式、不同版本出现,与美西方的制度之争、理念之争、意识形态之争将伴随我建设社会主义现代化强国、实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的全过程。如何讲好中国故事,已经升至国家核心诉求,前置于国家整体统筹规划的顶层设计,成为国家软实力的重要组成部分。作为中国日益走近世界舞台中心过程中的前锋和护佑,中国国际传播进入战略传播的升维时刻。我们不仅要做好中国的事情,还要讲好中国的故事,要赋予中国式现代化以当代的、世界的意义和价值挖掘和阐释。前所未有的事业,呼唤前所未有的国家叙事,需要对这项事业进行深刻的省察、理解、定义和讲述,需要延伸历史的纵深、拓展世界的维度,赋予中国实践以全新的价值。

To construct a new form of human civilization with the Chinese modernization path,the Communist Party of China is leading the Chinese people to answer one of the most challenging questions in the world:how to achieve multiple modernizations simultaneously in a compressed time and space context.These include modernization in terms of a huge population,common prosperity for all people,coordination between material and spiritual civilizations,harmonious coexistence between humans and nature,and a path of peaceful development.This unique endeavor,never seen before in human history,will thoroughly reshape the world's map of modernization.Chinese modernization is progressing amidst great changes not seen in a century and via the grand strategy of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.While peace and development remain the themes of the present world,deficits in governance,trust,peace,and development continue to worsen.Significant changes are happening in international order,patterns,rules,and geopolitical,economic,and diplomatic relations.Telling the Chinese story well has become a core national demand and a top-level design that precedes overall national planning.It has become an essential component of the country's soft power.As China approaches the center of the world stage,international communication enters a strategic moment of elevation.We must not only do well in China but also tell China's story well,imbuing Chinese modernization with contemporary and global significance and value exploration and interpretation.This unprecedented endeavor calls for an unprecedented national narrative,requiring deep reflection,understanding,definition,and narration of this undertaking.It needs to extend the depth of history,expand the dimensions of the world,and endow Chinese practices with new values while constructing modern Chinese civilization and innovating the heights of human civilization.
