在法国大革命中,产生了一些军事节日。革命初期,自发性的节日被程序化的节日所代替,典型的例子是结盟节。在节日中,民众被排除在外。雅各宾派统治时期,没有设置专门的军事节日,但到了热月及督政府时期,军事节日逐渐系统化。大量寓意符号的使用,以及正规军与国民卫队的区分,显示出这些节日是教育性而非融合性的。
During the French Revolution,a number of military festivals arose.At the beginning of the revolution,spontaneous festivals were replaced by programmed festivals,with a typical example being the Festival of Federation.In the festivals,the civilians were excluded.Althoughtherewere no special military festivals during the Jacobin governance,they were graduallysystematized during the Thermidor Reaction and the Directory.The use of numerous allegorical symbols and the distinction between the regular army and the National Guard show that these festivals were educational rather than festivals of integration.
