Research on Regional Sign Design for City Entrances:Design of Anren City Gate

借助符号学原理尝试新的地域标识推导设计方式,在降低大众对标识理解难度的同时,亦可展现出标识的独特性.通过对地域文化符号的调研收集,将符号元素由浅入深,再由繁及简地提炼成常见、易识别、简约的初步符号图形.普通的符号图形在符号元素的独特性加持下被推导出新的带有地域文化特色的新标识符号.湖南省安仁县城市大门项目设计实践证明了以此设计方法来创作地域标识是科学的、可行的.

With the semiotic principles,this paper proposes a new way of regional sign design to reduce the difficulty in understanding signs and show uniqueness.Based on the survey of regional cultural symbols,the symbols are summarised into common,easily recognisable and simple draft figures.Familiar figures are derived into new signs with regional cultural characteristics and unique elements.Finally,with theoretical exploration,the research enjoys a practical design exploration of the Anren city gate and project implementation.
