Using CBL to Explain Knowledge Points of Unsharp Masking

在医学影像成像原理课程中有关不鲜明蒙片的讲解是一个难点,由于学生没有医学图像处理基础,直接按照课本内容讲解,会导致学生只能死记硬背,不能很好地理解。运用CBL,通过一个病例引导说明不鲜明蒙片在实际工作中的价值,以真实的图片着手引入不鲜明蒙片概念;从一维函数不鲜明特征获取以及如何突出边界特征出发,将相应原理扩展到二维实际图像进行验证,最终解释不鲜明蒙片的作用和实际效果。学生理解和掌握不鲜明蒙片的原理,有利于对医学影像成像原理后期课程的学习。

The concept of unsharp masking in Principles of Medical Imaging is a difficulty,because the students have no the basis of medical image processing.To explain the concept directly according to the content of the textbook will lead to students can only learn by rote and not understand well.In this paper,we used CBL method to illustrate the unsharp masking.Through a case to demonstrate the value of unsharp masking in practical work,and introducing the concept of unsharp masking by real pictures.The teaching is starting from the acquisition of obscure features of one-dimensional functions and how to highlight boundary features,and then the corresponding principles are extended to two-dimensional actual images for verification,and the function and actual eff ect of unsharp masking are finally explained.It is beneficial for students to understand the principle of unsharp masking in the later courses of Principles of Medical Imaging.
