China's economy is experiencing an unprecedented speed of development.The rapid economic development also bringsaseriesof social problems,one of which isthe aging population.A seriesof problemsbrought by aging are closely related to people's life.The existing architectural design cannot meet the needs of the aging population development,and the elderly are reluctant to leave the old houses and communities where they have lived for decades.The facilities of the old house can not meet the needs of the elderly,and the bathroom space is an important part of the living space.The application of universal design concept in the elderly bathroom space can make the life of the elderly more safe,convenient and comfortable.T he application of universal design in the living space and community construction needs to adapt to the development of the times and make the current elderly bathroom space design more perfect.
