Objective:To explore the application value of action research method intervention combined with individualised health education in elderly patients with coronary heart disease undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:Seventy-six cases of the patients were divided into a control group(n=38)and an observation group(n=38)according to the method of randomised numerical table. The control group underwent conventional nursing care, while the observation group underwent the action research method intervention combined with individualised health education, and the intervention was lasted for 12 weeks. The health quotient level, cardiac function, negative emotion and quality of life were compared between the two groups and analyzed. Results:After the intervention, the scores of the dimensions and total scores of the IQ index, left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),and the scores of the dimensions of generic quality of life inventory 74(GQOLI-74)were higher and the scores of the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and the self-rating depression scale(SDS)were lower in the observation group than the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion:The action research method intervention combined with individualised health education can effectively improve the cardiac function of elderly patients with coronary artery disease after PCI and the level of health quotient and quality of life and alleviate their negative emotions.
