Ideology as Logical Guidance of Individual Thoughts and Values

恩格斯曾经指出,国家是第一个支配人的意识形态力量。这个现实性力量在国家统治与社会生活中塑造着意识形态引领个人的支配结构和价值逻辑。在价值追求上,意识形态确立占支配地位的精神力量,培育现实个人的价值观念和信仰信念,塑造社会团结,巩固和发展统治利益;在价值结构上,意识形态从个人、社会、国家三个向度建构评价主体,涵盖知识、理想、信仰三方面内容;在价值进路上,意识形态引领个人生成价值认知、进行价值判断、做出价值陈述、寻求价值实现、深化价值反思,不断强化价值认同和笃定价值信念。意识形态引领个人的价值逻辑,既体现了国家的支配需要,也契合了个人的精神渴望。

Engels once pointed that the state constitutes the primary force in shaping the ideology of its people.as it provides a dominant framework and a set of values that guide the behaviour and way of thinking of individuals in their life in society.In the pursuit for values,the ideology of the state is a dominant spiritual force that fosters the individuals'notions of values and beliefs,forges social unity,consolidates and develops the benefits of governance.In the structure of values,ideology constructs evaluation subjects from three dimensions:individuals,society and state,covering knowledge,ideals and beliefs.In the logic of values,ideology guides the individuals in the formation of their cognition and judgement of values,allows them to make value statements and achieve actualization of their values,deepens their reflection of values,and reinforces their identification with and faith in the values.In short,ideology guides the logic of values of individuals,caters to their spiritual needs as well as the needs of the state for the exercise of its power of domination.
