Three Issues in the Discipline of Art Theory

艺术学理论学科的发展面临许多挑战,在其本土发展的过往十年中,有些重要的基础性工作尚未引起学术共同体的关注。其一是作为学科基础的文献资源的系统建设,建设什么和如何建设的问题需要认真考量,缺乏这一基础资源将严重阻碍学科的发展;其二是核心概念(或关键词)的系统梳理和界定,这是该学科话语体系建设的基本工作;其三是学科指南大型工具书的编撰,它在一定程度上显示出学科的成熟度和系统性。

The development of the discipline of art theory is faced with many challenges,and some important fundamental works have not yet attracted the attention of the academic community in the past ten years.The first is the systematic construction of documentary resources as the foundation of the discipline,in which the question of what to build and how to build needs to be seriously considered.The lack of this basic resource will seriously hinder the development of the discipline.The second is the systematic sorting and defining of the core concepts(or key words),which is the basic work for the construction of the discursive system of the discipline.And the third is the compilation of a large-scale toolkit of companions as disciplinary guides,which to a certain extent shows the maturity and systematicity of the discipline.
