Under the new situation of rapid social and economic development,environmental pollution related issues are emerging one after another,which has brought some negative impacts on people’s normal life and work.As an important aspect of environmental pollution,it is particularly important to conduct in-depth analysis of sewage treatment processes and methods.One of the functions of environmental engineering is refl ected in this.Based on this,this article takes the analysis of the problems in sewage treatment in environmental protection engineering under the new situation as the starting point,understands the actual situation of sewage treatment,and then proposes targeted optimization of sewage treatment processes and methods,aiming to provide some theoretical reference and practical inspiration for maximizing the effectiveness of sewage treatment.
