Through in-depth study of welding procedure specification(WPS)of onshore piping construction work under the OOK contract of project Saudi Aramco Marjan,the characteristics of welding procedure specification implementation under OOK contract were summarized.The special requirements,application process,characteristics of approval and countermeasures are introduced in details.Putting forward many lessons learned and countermeasures,which can be used for reference and study for the sustainable improvement of piping1 welding procedure specification and construction of Saudi Aramco offshore oil and gas field projects in the future.
