There is a correlation between bone calcium loss and cardiovascular diseases mediated by vascular calcification.The link between cardiovascular diseases and osteoporosis is caused by common traditional risk factors to some extent.The present article summarizes the common pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases and osteoporosis,and provides a basis for the treatment of diseases.
