The application value of real-world data(RWD)/real-world evidence(RWE)in pharmaceutical industry has received extensive attention recently.RWD/RWE can be properly used throughout drug product lifecycle,and this article briefly introduced the possible application scenarios of RWD/RWE in each key stage of product lifecycle,also provided representative foreign examples to further elaborate how RWD/RWE play its active role,which is aim to provide references for China to make better use of RWD/RWE in the development and marketing of drug products.
