摘要
目的探究电子牙周探针探诊检查在本科口腔临床实验技能教学中的应用效果。方法选取2022年3月至2022年6月四川大学华西口腔医学院146名2018级口腔临床医学专业本科生作为研究对象,采用随机数字表法分为对照组和试验组,每组73名。其中试验组采用UNC-15牙周探针和电子牙周探针进行牙周探诊教学,对照组采用UNC-15牙周探针进行牙周探诊教学。通过学生参与度量表和Biggs两因子修订版学习过程调查问卷对两组学生探诊检查的学习参与度和学习过程进行调查和评价,同时采用教师自我效能感量表(TSES)对助教教学效能进行调查。结果学习参与度调查中,试验组学生的认真程度、投入时间、深层次学习策略、兴趣以及成就感等评分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。试验组中84.94%的学生认为电子牙周探针的使用可以帮助他们更好地掌握探诊操作的要点,87.67%的学生认为电子牙周探针可提高牙周检查的效率,同时80.82%的学生推荐将其作为辅助工具来指导探诊教学课程。TSES结果显示81.82%的助教在“激励对学习不感兴趣的学生”方面认同教学效能,且认同率最高。结论在本科口腔临床实验技能教学中应用基于电子牙周探针的探诊检查学生参与度高,助教教学效能反馈良好。
Objective To explore the application effect of electronic periodontal probe probing examination in the teaching of oral clinical experimental skills for undergraduates.Methods From March 2022 to June 2022,a total of 146 undergraduates majoring in oral clinical medicine of 2018 at West China School/Hospital of Stomatology Sichuan University were divided into control group and experimental group according to the random number table method,with 73 students in each group.The experimental group used UNC-15 periodontal probe and electronic periodontal probe for periodontal probing teaching,while the control group only used UNC-15 periodontal probe.The learning participation and learning process of the students on probing examinations were investigated and evaluated through the student engagement scale and the Biggs two-factors revised learning process questionnaire.Also,the teaching sense of self-efficacy scale(TSES)was used to investigate the teaching effectiveness of assistants.Results In the questionnaire about learning participation,the students'behavioral participation,like seriousness,investment time,deep learning strategy,interest sense of achievement in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).84.94%of the students in the experimental group believed that the application of electronic periodontal probe could help them better grasp the key points of probing operation,and 87.67%of them thought electronic periodontal probe improved the efficiency of periodontal examination.Also,80.82%of the students recommended the electronic periodontal probe as an auxiliary tool to guided them in the probing teaching course.The TSES showed 81.82%of the assistants recognized teaching effectiveness in"motivating students who were not interested in learning",and the recognition rate was the highest.Conclusion The application of electronic periodontal probe-based probing examination in the teaching of oral clinical experimental skills for undergraduates has a high degree of students'participation and good feedback on assistants'teaching effectiveness.
