Failure Analysis of in-service PE Gas Pipeline

PE燃气管道属于特种设备的一种,管道内的燃气是易燃物质,一旦因管道失效而泄露,容易发生燃烧爆炸事故,对人们的生命和财产造成一定的损失。本文从管材性能、时间、环境温度、划痕、载荷、焊接质量六方面综述了在用PE燃气管道失效原因和失效机理;介绍了PE燃气管道焊接工艺和典型焊接缺陷类型,最后以管道电熔焊接缺陷为例,详细分析了不同焊接缺陷引起PE燃气管道失效的作用机理。

PE gas pipeline is a kind of special equipment,the gas in the pipeline is flammable material,if the pipe leaks because of failure,it is easy to burn and explode and cause a certain loss to people's life and property.This paper summarizes the failure causes and failure mechanism of in-service PE gas pipelines from six aspects of pipe performance,time,ambient temperature,scratch,load and welding quality.The welding process and typical welding defect types of PE gas pipeline are introduced.Finally,the mechanism of different welding defects causing the failure of PE gas pipeline is analyzed in detail by taking the welding defects of pipeline as an example.
