As an important component of Chinese modernization,scientific and technological modernization is a powerful engine leading the development of Chinese modernization.It is also the leading force for Chinese modernization to win the future.Modernization of science and technology in China has gone through four stages of development:creation and development,technological catch-up,independent innovation,high-level self-reliance and self-improvement.It has embarked on a path of scientific and technological modernization with Chinese characteristics.Building Chinese scientific and technological modernization is facing unprecedented changes in the world,as well as challenges from a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation.We need to adhere to the strategic mainline of independent innovation,strengthen the construction of scientific and technological talent teams,and actively contribute Chinese wisdom to building a global scientific and technological innovation system.
