Brief Review of Essential Oil Analysis Techniques

精油因其风味、香气和药用价值而被广泛使用。精油的质量因会极大影响其药用价值而被重点关注。现综述用于表征精油的分析方法,包括GC-FID和GC-MS在内的传统定性和定量分析方法;对映选择性GC分析精油的手性成分;HPLC法对低挥发性成分的定性和定量分析;LC-MS-MS联用技术提供了精油结构特征的补充信息;多维色谱方法克服共洗脱问题;^(13)C-NMR光谱优选用于立体异构体和热敏化合物的定量;使用化学计量学区分精油分析信息的来源和差异。研究当前精油分析技术的概况有助于新方法的开发。

Essential oils are widely used for their flavor,aroma and medicinal value.The quality of essential oils is of great concern because it can greatly affect their medicinal value.This review provides an overview of analytical methods used to characterize essential oils,including traditional qualitative and quantitative methods including GC-FID and GC-MS;the chiral components of essential oils were analyzed by enantioselective GC;qualitative and quantitative analysis of low volatile components by HPLC;the LC-MS-MS technique provides supplementary information on the structural characteristics of essential oils;the problem of co-elution was overcome by multi-dimensional chromatography;^(13)C-NMR spectroscopy is preferred for the quantification of stereoisomers and heat-sensitive compounds;use chemometrics to distinguish sources and differences of essential oil analysis information.Overview of current analytical techniques is to aid in the development of new methods.
