Hospital social work plays an indispensable role in the healthcare service system,involving multiple domains and aspects both within and outside hospitals.Using the IDEA model as a theoretical framework and taking hospital social work practice as a case study,this research explores the concepts,differences,experiences,and advantages of applying hospital social work.It was found that the role of hospital social workersin healthcare service is increasingly important.By integration of brand IDEA model,the work content,service standards,and skill requirements of hospital social workers can be further improved and standardized.Further more hospital social work has a wide application,including community services,disease prevention,health education,and health promotion.Therefore,it is crucial to closely monitor the quality and effectiveness of professional services in the application of hospital social work,while continuously enhancing service levels and standardizing practice through innovative models.
