Common Prosperity: Core Connotation, Practical Dilemma and Principles to Follow

共同富裕是社会主义本质的必然要求,也是新时代中国特色社会主义实践的重要目标。共同富裕的核心内涵主要表现在四个方面,即全民共富、全面共富、共建共富和渐进共富。共同富裕是长期的、曲折的过程,我国的贫富差距、城乡差距、区域差距等问题仍然较为突出,这些问题也构成了推动共同富裕过程中面临的重大现实挑战。党的二十大指出了实现新征程上党的使命任务的重要原则,这些原则对于在新的历史起点上推动共同富裕有着重要的启示意义,同时也是共同富裕保持正确政治方向所要坚持的实践遵循。

Common prosperity is an inevitable requirement for the essence of socialism,as well as an important goal for the practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.The core connotation of common prosperity,a long-term tortuous process,is mainly manifested in four aspects,namely:common prosperity for all,common prosperity in an all-round way,common prosperity with common eff orts and gradual common prosperity.At present,the gap between the rich and the poor,the gap between urban and rural areas,and the regional gap in China are still relatively prominent,which constitute major practical challenges faced in the process of promoting common prosperity.The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out the important principles for realizing the party’s mission and tasks on the new journey,which have important enlightenment signifi cance for promoting common prosperity at a new historical starting point,and are also the practice to be followed to maintain the correct political direction of common prosperity.
