摘要 千兆无源光网络(Gigabit Passive Optical Network,GPON)技术在宽带接入网中具有广泛的有效应用。首先介绍了GPON技术的基本原理,包括光纤传输基础知识、GPON网络结构以及下行上行传输机制。其次探讨了GPON技术的应用优势,如高带宽和高速率、长距离传输能力、共享网络资源以及低成本和高效率。最后介绍了GPON的应用模式,包括光纤到户(Fiber to the Home,FTTH)和光纤到楼(Fiber to the Building,FTTB)等。在此基础上,详细阐述了GPON技术在宽带接入网中的应用,包括提供高速宽带接入、支持多种业务和服务、实现高质量的视频和音频传输以及支持远程办公和云服务。另外,展望了GPON技术的发展趋势和未来展望,GPON技术在宽带接入网中发挥着重要的作用,并具有广阔的应用前景。 Gigabit Passive Optical Network(GPON)technology is widely used in broadband access network.This paper first introduces the basic principles of GPON technology,including the basic knowledge of optical fiber transmission,GPON network structure and uplink transmission mechanism.Then the application advantages of GPON technology are discussed,such as high bandwidth and high rate,long-distance transmission capability,shared network resources,low cost and high efficiency.Finally it introduces the application mode of GPON,including Fiber to the Home(FTTH)and Fiber to the Building(FTTB).On this basis,the application of GPON technology in broadband access network is described in detail,these include high-speed broadband access,support for multiple services and services,high-quality video and audio transmission,and support for telecommuting and cloud services.In addition,the development trend and future prospect of GPON technology are prospected.GPON technology plays an important role in broadband access network,and has a broad application prospects.
