Myanmar,a key nation along the belt and road region,is of strategic importance to China based on its specific location.Meanwhile,Myanmar was attracting attention across the globe due to political turbulence and economic opening.Seed revitalization was essential to its agricultural development and rural poverty relief.The paper comprehensively evaluated on the seed value chain of Myanmar including germplasm,breeding,market and development,and summarized the current status of Sino-Myanmar seed cooperation and presented the present chances and risks of Myanmar seed market.To integrally utilize two markets and advance economic corridor building,it's proposed that the two sides shall enhance cooperation on germplasm,breeding innovation,marketing and extension and S&T talents communication.
