期待看得见“人”的外国文学研究——一个外国文学老师的观察与反思

Looking Forward to Seeing“People”in Foreign Literature Research——A Foreign Literature Teacher’s Observation and Reflection

外国文学老师从事学术研究,是为了更好地教学。外国文学教学是以“文学经典”为对象,因此外国文学老师的研究也应以“文学经典”为重点。因为外国文学课是典型的“为人类”课程,以塑造学生的人格和精神为主要目标,所以外国文学教学要侧重“人”学内涵的发掘和传递,为此,外国文学老师在选择研究方法时,应遵循“文学是人学”的常识,不应过分追求理论的时髦。从外国文学老师的视角反思外国文学研究,可以发现,我们的研究对象和教学对象严重脱节,且在研究方法上过于注重各种新奇方法的实验,导致诸多成果几乎看不见“人”。为了更好地教书育人,外国文学老师在从事学术研究时,在研究立场上应回归和尊重外国文学老师的身份,在指导思想上应真正遵循马克思主义,在研究方法上应提高“悟证”的比重,在写作语言上应尽量说“人”话。

Foreign literature teachers engage in academic research in order to better teach.Foreign literature teaching focuses on“literary classics”,so foreign literature teachers'research should also focus on“literary classics”.Because foreign literature courses are typical“for humanity”courses,with the main goal of shaping students'personalities and spirits,foreign literature teaching should focus on exploring and conveying the connotation of“human”studies.Therefore,foreign literature teachers should follow the common sense of“literature is human studies”when choosing research methods,and should not excessively pursue the fashion of theory.Reflecting on foreign literature research from the perspective of foreign literature teachers,it can be found that our research objects and teaching objects are seriously disconnected,and we place too much emphasis on experiments with various novel methods in research methods,resulting in many achievements that are almost invisible to“people”.In order to better teach and educate people,foreign literature teachers should return to and respect the identity of foreign literature teachers in their research stance,truly follow the guidance of Marxism in their guiding ideology,increase the proportion of“enlightenment”in their research methods,and try to speak“human”language in their writing language.
