Interpretation of Three Pairs of Concepts Concerning Chinese Appraisal Sentences

估测句在汉语中使用频率极高,但学界对它的关注度极低。与估测句相关的概念主要有三组:一为“辖域”组,包括外位估测辖域与内位估测辖域、显性估测辖域与隐性估测辖域、宽幅估测辖域与窄幅估测辖域、否定估测辖域与估测否定辖域;二为“指向”组,包括包孕型估测指向与非包孕型估测指向;三为“指数”组,包括估测指数与估测邻指律。以上三组概念的提出、界定与诠释,对估测句相关研究及其教学实践具有一定的理论价值和现实意义。

Chinese appraisal sentences enjoy a high use frequency,but little attention is paid to them.There are three pairs of concepts concerning Chinese appraisal sentences.The first pair is the scope of appraisal:the appraisal scope outside of the appraisal mark&the appraisal scope embedded in the appraisal mark;overt appraisal scope&convert appraisal scope;non-precise appraisal scope&precise appraisal scope;negative appraisal scope&negative scope of appraisal.The second pair is appraisal direction:appraisal scope embedded in the appraisal frame structure&appraisal scope not embedded in the appraisal frame structure.And the third pair is appraisal index&proximity of appraisal direction.Proposing,defining and interpreting the above concepts can offer theoretical and practical meaning to the study of appraisal sentences and their teaching.
