瑞典隆德大学藏民国新疆基督教改宗者信札初探

A Preliminary study on the Letters of Christian converts from Xinjiang,the Republic of China in the Collection of Lund University,Sweden

清末至民国中期,受到一支来自瑞典行道会传教团的影响,我国新疆喀什地区出现了一个为数不多的本地基督教改宗者群体。作为那个时代的边疆的“边缘人”,这些改宗者将他们的皈依心路历程、面临的现实困境及对当时诸类社会情状的观察记录在了写给瑞典传教士们的信札之中。现藏于瑞典隆德大学“雅林收藏品”中的这些信札,是进一步检视瑞典传教团活动的第一手资料,亦是丰富近代我国边疆地区基督教史文献内涵的重要补充。

From the terminal Qing dynasty to the mid-Republic of China,under the influence of the Mission Covenant Church of Sweden,a small group of local Christian converts appeared in Kashghar region of Xinjiang.Being the"marginal group"in the country's frontier at the time,these converts had recorded the mental fluctuations they went through during the conversion journey,the real-life obstacles they faced,and their observations of various contemporary social conditions in their letters to Swedish missionaries.These letters,now in the Jarring Collection of Lund University,Sweden,serve as the firsthand materials for the further investigations of the activities of the Mission Covenant Church of Sweden.They also significantly enhance our understandings of the historic literature regarding the history of Christianity in Chinese borderland during the time of the Republic of China.
