和谐话语中的态度意义与国家形象建构研究——以《新时代的中国绿色发展》白皮书英译本为例

On the English Version of China’s Green Development in the New Era:Attitudinal Meaning and National Image in Harmonious Discourse

从评价理论框架下态度资源系统探索和谐话语分析路径,选取《新时代的中国绿色发展》白皮书英译本为语料,利用UAM CorpusTool与AntConc工具分析态度资源的分布特征,探讨背后传递的话语意义以及对于国家形象建构的作用。研究发现,政府官方文件英译本中多使用积极态度,遵循和谐话语分析的“以人为本”的基本假定和“良知”“亲近”“制约”三原则。通过情感、判断和鉴赏资源分别构建了“绿色发展、以人为本”“科学统筹、艰苦奋斗”“开放包容、合作共赢”的国家形象。

This paper explores the approach of harmonious discourse analysis from the attitude resource system under the framework of evaluation theory,selects the English version of the white paper Chi-na’s Green Development in the New Era as the Corpus,uses UAM Corpus Tool and AntConc tools to analyze the distribution characteristics of attitude resources,and discusses the meaning of the dis-course delivered behind and its role in the construction of national image.It is found that English ver-sions of government official documents mostly use positive attitudes,following the basic assumption“people-oriented”of harmonious discourse analysis and the three principles of“conscience”“proximi-ty”and“regulation”.Through affection,judgment and appreciation of resources,the national image of“green development,people-oriented”“scientific planning and hard work”“open,inclusive and win-win cooperation”has been built respectively.This study explores the analytical path of harmonious discourse from the perspective of evaluation theory,which is helpful to the external communication of harmonious discourse analysis and the construction of national image.
